Our City of Colours aims to increase the visibility of, and address the issues facing lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people in a variety of linguistic and cultural communities in Metro Vancouver.

- explaining the importance of the collection and the confidentiality of data to people reluctant to respond to the census questionnaire in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
